In a significant step toward establishing a culture of excellence, BRIGHTHOUSE ACADEMY successfully organized its first staff training program for its pioneer staff members in August 2024. The training was held at the academy's premises and aimed to equip the staff with essential and foundational skills for Early years.
The training covered key topics such as Jolly Phonics, ICT training, classroom management, and child psychology—understanding different learning needs. The training was led by industry experts and experienced educators, ensuring that participants gained practical insights to enhance their roles as teachers and caregivers.

On the first day of the training, MR. OLADELE OYELOLA, chairman of the Oladele Oyelola Foundation and PROPRIETOR OF BRIGHTHOUSE ACADEMY, gave a presentation on the school's vision, mission, and core values.

HONORABLE (MRS) OMOTAYO ADELEYE-ISHAYA, who currently serves as the representative of Ijumu Constituency in Kogi State House of Assembly (the State Legislature), visited Brighthouse Academy during the training. She encouraged the Teachers to support the vision of the school.
Mrs Oluwatosin Medaiyese, a participant, expressed enthusiasm for the training. She said that the program has provided her with valuable insights into effective teaching strategies and has increased her proficiency in computer literacy.
The training sets a strong foundation for operational excellence and instructional effectiveness as the Academy prepares to welcome its first batch of students. The institution remains committed to supporting its staff with ongoing professional development opportunities.
