Brighthouse Academy, our raison d’être. One hundred years ago, Ayetoro Gbede was founded on the promise of a better tomorrow. As we mark this extraordinary centenary milestone, Brighthouse Academy stands as our generation’s answer to that promise — a bold commitment to ensuring that tomorrow belongs to every child in Okunland.

The establishment of Brighthouse Academy is a direct response to a longstanding and painful reality: the inequality in access to quality education across Okunland. For too long, where a child is born has determined the quality of education they receive. We are here to change that.

Brighthouse Academy is not a charity — it is a covenant. A covenant with every family, every community, and every young mind in this land. Though tuition is free for all students, make no mistake: our standards are not. We have built a system designed to search for ability wherever it exists and give it the opportunity to flourish, transforming life through education.

Our vision is clear: to produce innovators, problem-solvers, and future leaders capable of competing effectively on the global stage. To achieve this, our academic programme is anchored on strong foundations in English Language, Mathematics, and Science — the universal languages of opportunity. This foundation will position our students to participate fully in the global ecosystem of emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, in a rapidly evolving world economy where those who are prepared will lead.
